06Questions

What people ask us before they move

Don’t see your question? Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll answer in English, Spanish or French.

General answers; every case is reviewed individually.

How do I know I can trust you?

Before you pay anything, you get in writing what we’ll do, how much it costs and how long it takes. Consulate and INM fees are paid separately, directly to the government. Our founder is a former Consul of Mexico, and every case is covered by the written CG Guarantee.

How much does it cost?

It depends on your case. The questionnaire and the first review of your result are free. Before you hire us, you get a written proposal with scope, fees and timelines.

How long does it take?

It mostly depends on the schedule of the consulate where you book your appointment. Once you arrive in Mexico, you have 30 days to exchange your visa for your resident card.

Can I apply while I’m in Mexico?

In most cases, residency for retirees or based on financial solvency is requested at a Mexican consulate outside the country. There are exceptions, such as a family tie to a Mexican citizen or resident, that let you change your status without leaving. The questionnaire tells you if that’s your case.

Can I bring my partner and children?

Yes. Your family can apply for residency based on family unity through yours, or on their own if they qualify. We handle all the cases in the same process.

Can I work with my residency?

Residency based on financial solvency lets you live in Mexico, but it doesn’t include a work permit on its own. If you plan to work, we tell you which permit you need before you start.

Do you work in English and French?

Yes. We work with you in English, Spanish or French, and we explain everything you sign or receive from us in your language.
